God didn't want us to live in Eden.
For some reason, God apparently didn't want us to live in Eden. First of all, he puts a tree full of fruit that he didn't want them to eat. Why put it there if he didn't want them to eat it? He could have just put the tree outside of Eden, then told them never to leave it, or something.
He also allowed the snake to trick Eve into eating a fruit. If he didn't want them to eat the fruit, then why allow the snake to trick Eve into eating in? In fact, why have the snake speak English at all? Right now we only see the snake speech as hissing, so why didn't God just do that from the beginning? Didn't he consider the possibility that an animal could do something like that? The snake speaking english seems like some sort of plothole to get the next event to occur to me... also, isn't God supposed to omnipresent? Then how in the world could he have not seen the snake trick Eve? Even if he didn't see the snake trick Eve, then how could he not see Eve convince Adam to eat the fruit as well? All of this doesn't jive with an omnipresent God. Unless of course, God wanted all of this to happen. So now I have a question, why? If God wanted this to happen, then why have them live in Eden in the first place? Why not just put them on the Earth we know and love. It seems like a lot less hassle for God. None of this makes any sense, unless of course, somebody made the whole thing up. |
