How did you find this? I was looking and tried quite a few different searches but came up empty.

I really needed to find out because the guy I am arguing with keeps quoting the Blue Letter Bible Commentary and I wanted to get some background info on this "primary source" of his. He uses Fauset as his primary source for evidence that there was a "walled city with towers" on the mainland opposite Tyre (the island) when Nebuchadnezzar attacked- thus fulfilling a "portion" of Ezekiel's prophecy. I wanted something tangible to point out to him about his source, and to me, anyone from the evangelical school is going to be rather biased. When Dr. Joukowsky gets back from the Virgin Islands she is sending me her book which supposedly has archaeological evidence that contradicts Fauset's interpretation. |
