LOL if you can't see that means jesus, you're blind.

Who's "disciples" number many thousands?

Doesn't Buddha have less disciples?
Sigh.

*Bigger sigh*

You ripped the quote off from a Bahai site. Did you wonder why they'd posted it?? And do you know anything about incarnations?

Hilarious, according to this link the "Buddha" being referenced is none other than;
Quote:
BAHA'U'LLAH IS THE BUDDHA
Baha'is recognize Baha'u'llah "as the Judge, the Lawgiver and Redeemer of all mankind, as the Organizer of the entire planet, as the Unifier of the children of men, as the Inaugurator of the long-awaited millennium, as the Originator of a new "Universal Cycle," as the Establisher of the Most Great Peace, as the Fountain of the Most Great Justice, as the Proclaimer of the coming of age of the entire human race, as the Creator of a new World Order, and as the Inspirer and Founder of a world civilization.
Born in 1817, in Tehran, the capital city of Persia!
Really "high quality" reference material there H-L, even they disagree with you,

I'm still looking for an egg-on-the-face smilie for this sort of thing, ie persisting stupidity... It would be very useful for the "propheteers". (Rhymes with Mouseketeers.)

I thought I explained this. They never wrote anything down about it because they DESPISED Christianity.

Why would they want to write down what a "false messiah" did?
Let's see. They failed to write anything down and yet you think you know what they said in secret.

If the name "Jesus" meant "kindness" you would almost have an actual argument.

Apparently, some fellow named "Maitreya" which means "kindness".

Didn't you read your own source?

Through much of Christian history, it was not the largest religion
Excellent point. And looked at critically, it is not the largest religion today. Christianity is splintered and factious, and many elements of the Christian community do not accept other Christians as being True Christians, and are fully convinced that the False Christians are going to hell.

If there was ONE Christian church and ONE set of beliefs, then it might be an argument (for something, I guess), but there are hundreds of different flavors, most of which don't like or accept the other flavors.

Not only arrogant and insulting, but also perpetuating lies.

The Buddha was Hindu, originally. If that's even a halfway accurate translation os what he may have said, he would more likely be reffering to Vishnu or Shiva than Jesus.

Kim Jong-il?
L.Ron Hubbard?

One could go on and on.

And do you really think there aren't "many thousands" of Buddhists?
