Question "Case for Christ" reviews?

I haven't read this book, yet, but my wife (who is athiest) did read the book. She wanted me to ask anyone here who has read it what their critique is of the book.

(ahem) *impersonating my wife's voice* "So what are your thoughts on The Case for Christ?"

Check out Jeffery Jay Lowder’s review http://www.infidels.org/library/mode...robel-rev.html

If you want more responses to your thread, ask the MODS to move it over to BC&H.

Thanks for the link. Considering that she's looking for IIDB member's views on the book, I'd ask the MODS to move this thread where they think it needs to be for this question, if M&PC is not the place for it.

Thanks

I'll give you my review of Lee Strobel, but not the book: the man is dishonest, plain and simple.

I'm sending this to BC&H. As noted, the topic of the book seems to fit better there.

The best critique is Earl Doherty's Challenging the Verdict.

I thought it was called a coffin, not a case.

I agree; Challenging the Verdict is an excellent refutation of Stobel's book. I ordered my book directly from Doherty's Web site (and received a signed copy), and excerpts from the book can be read there.

Thanks, Peter and John. I will pass this along to her. But in the mean time, what were your thoughts on the book. She's interested in II's views of the book, too.
