Default Impossible to alter the Quran

http://www.al-islam.org/ENCYCLOPEDIA/chapter8/7.html

So what these guys are basically saying is that Allah is protecting the Quran so that humans cannot alter it and distribute it in a community.
I wonder if the Saudi Arabian royal family will bet their oil money on this.. Anyone up for a bet?

These snippets from my blog may interest you:

http://www.roger-pearse.com/weblog/?p=9

on a printed edition full of errors, and

http://www.roger-pearse.com/weblog/?p=1095

on the Moslem ban on printing, and a link to Karpat, "The politicization of Islam" where erroneous Koran printing is mentioned. Unfortunately Karpat does not reference his claim.

But I don't claim to have any special knowledge; both of these by accident.

All the best,

Roger Pearse
