The plan of GOD
The plan of God is SIMPLE.
[Luke 3:6] All flesh will see God's salvation. Eternal torment - Lie Annihilation - Lie Universal salvation - Is the only scriptural Truth. |

Yeah, they'll see God alright, they'll see him pleading for fucking mercy getting their nuts roasted in eternal lava while he sits up in his throne all high and mighty and just laughs. :devil1:

The plan of God is... to confound and divide humanity with changing directions, with contradictory sages written to different drummers; to stage the ultimate tragic comedy... Why? Well of course, so the gods can be entertained from their etheral towers upon the firmament.
Oh, I'm sorry I thought you were offering a fill in the blank :banghead: |

Context is everything:
Luke 3 1 In the fifteenth year of the reign of Tiberius Caesar--when Pontius Pilate was governor of Judea, Herod tetrarch of Galilee, his brother Philip tetrarch of Iturea and Traconitis, and Lysanias tetrarch of Abilene-- 2d uring the high priesthood of Annas and Caiaphas, the word of God came to John son of Zechariah in the desert. 3 He went into all the country around the Jordan, preaching a baptism of repentance for the forgiveness of sins. 4 As is written in the book of the words of Isaiah the prophet: "A voice of one calling in the desert, 'Prepare the way for the Lord, make straight paths for him. 5Every valley shall be filled in, every mountain and hill made low. The crooked roads shall become straight, the rough ways smooth. 6And all mankind will see God's salvation.' "[1] John (or Luke) is claiming to quote Isaiah, but Isaiah talks of God's glory, not God's salvation: Isaiah 40 3 A voice of one calling: "In the desert prepare the way for the LORD [1] ; make straight in the wilderness a highway for our God. [2] 4 Every valley shall be raised up, every mountain and hill made low; the rough ground shall become level, the rugged places a plain. 5 And the glory of the LORD will be revealed, and all mankind together will see it. For the mouth of the LORD has spoken." What is the difference between glory and salvation here? Was Isaiah speaking of personal salvation, or is this Christian reinterpretation? |

(1) Why are you here screaming it to the atheists? Shouldn't you be posting this over on some Christian boards? After all, it's THEIR hell, isn't it? (2) If it's so simple, why is the Bible so big? |
