there is in fact a perfectly logical reason that the bible contradicts itself, talks in every possible direction, say this and that then suddenly says the complete opposite. how else can you interpret it the way that suits you, and thereby gain massive support from anyone ranging from insane cultleaders to your everyday middle age grandma down the block? i mean this is a tactical move of pure genious, and hidden throughout the whole book, it just keeps telling the story of how israelis are the chosen people of god that can do basically whatever the hell they want and get away with it (genocide, murder, war, ethnic cleansing etc. etc..) god commanded them!! (which btw is motivation nr.1 for psychotic serial killers in modern time)

the rest of the bible is just not that important, THIS is the bottom line of what its all about, and what it boils down to! just a thought

and oh yeah, almost forgot: some of it is also about aliens
