Mark 16:15-18 KJV

"And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved, but he that believeth not shall be damned.

And these signs shall follow those who believe; in my name shall they cast out demons, they shall speak with new tongues;

They shall take up serpents, and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick and they shall recover."

"They shall take up serpents" has that magical quality about it in comparison to Moses who was experienced as a learned master magician, who learned his craftiness in Egypt. So what is Jesus saying? That his followers will learn to do the same magic tricks that Jesus employed? To deceive the multitudes by words? Ah, tis is the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven. Some would learn and some would not? :devil1:

Jesus was a Jew who didn't believe in the Roman gods Jupiter or Mercury, or the great goddess called Diana or whatever other gods were worshiped in those days.

Christians don't believe in Allah, Buddha, or the flying spegetti monster.

ps.. everyone's an atheist in their own right. Once we make Christians understand this, half the battle is won.
