New .. and a question
Hello all..
I have been lurking on this board, James Randi and some jewish sites for quite some time but I have never seen this question asked. What sacrifice? If God(the big one) sacrificed his son (jesus) and he is still around, then there is no sacrifice. Sacrifice is giving something up forever.. not 3 days. If I stopped smoking for 3 days and start up again.. I'm still a smoker right.! Further more if Jesus has been around since the begining (days thousand year thing) then his so called sacrifice was a split second in time for him. But the big question is Sacrifice .. If Jesus did not return(died forever) and was the son of god(whiched he loved) then God( the big guy) would have made a sacrifice. Thanx Mario |

I am personally not a Christian. But I do think Jesus rised from the dead to show the world he was the son of God. If he did not, Christianity would not exist for in 1 Coritnthians 15:14-15 Paul said without Jesus rising from the dead there will be no Christianity.... hope that helps. Probably didn't, oh well. |

Where's the sacrifice?.. What was given up? when the jews sacrifed goats and birds as burnt offerings.. they did not come back to life to show gods power , they were gone forever period, thats why they call it sacrifice..right?

Welcome redzrx. If you hang out around here much you'll see that question asked from time to time. In fact, I like to ask it myself. I'm gonna move this to GRD because you might get more replies there.

Magus
you seem to be separating the father and son as two entitities with separate feelings and thoughts.. there is only one god right?
Plus .. he created the world and the rules so why separate himself and kill himself and raise himself to complete his own rules. It makes no sense. Mario |
