That's obnoxious and disgusting. I think humanity does deserve respect; that's why I oppose the actions you charge humanity with.

Note that your last sentence (that humanity is disgusting and doesn't deserve respect) could lead one to not condemn, even to condone, the actions you describe in the first sentence, or worse (e.g. the Flood). If Humanity is disgusting and doesn't deserve respect, why not murder, rape, mug, drown, etc? Why give a shit about starving children, or children at all?

The probability of energy causing a particle of water to "jump out," makes it very likely. The odds of all of the water (we are working in an extremely small scale) suddenly jumping out at the same time is possible, but not very probable. You seem to have a problem with scale and probability. It is possible for anything to happen, and the smaller the scale, the higher the probability. The probability of a quark to change phase could almost be one hundred percent. The odd of trillions upon trillions of water molecules suddenly gain enough energy to leave a glass on their own is very low. You are mistakenly thinking that water is a single object, not made up of many smaller molecules of water.

The point isn't to speak the truth. You are probably laboring under the idea that you should always deal with people honestly. The facts are of no concern whatsoever. To be concerned with facts one must have enough respect for their audience not to mislead them.
As you have seen that is of no importance at all, people being the shits that they are. The point is not to convey facts but to convey (mis)information that supports the god story. Truth is of no concern but tall tales, like defying gravity by willing yourself to fly, a glass of water that defies gravity too, or a world wide flood that defies more facts than you can shake a stick at, are cool. People like weird stories. I think the word that was used was "incredible"---which, of course means "too unusual to be believed."
When you have zero respect for people doing things like this too them is only to be expected.

Benny Hinn is a disgrace to Christianity. Why do you assume all Christians have to be perfect? We have a perfect standard by which to live by, but since everyone is human and fallible, Christian or not, there are bad people everywhere. I'm completely opposed to the Benny Hinn junk. Its a fraud just to steal money from people. Again, why do you assume just because someone claims to be Christian, that their actions represent all of Christianity?
