Eusebius must not be taken at face value! He is attempting to pretend the wisdom ideas are new and his new ideas are ancient! Exactly what Darius did 800 years before Eusebius!

This is similar to what I posited on here some time ago (a couple of years at least) that Marcion of Sinope could have been a fictional catholic "boogeyman" invented by the ante-Nicenes. The "Uber-heretic".

I know, there are a lot of holes, but it does fit somewhat with what I think mountainman has been leading up to across various posts.
