I know this is a minor point on the ethnicity of Cyrus however his grandfather was Astyages, the last Median King.

You've already been told why this is not reliable. So I invite you to do the same thing: stop claiming this, and actually prove it.

Japan's economic development also came from internal sources and from US trade deals. Japan was an economic powerhouse that began its ascent after defeating Russia in the Russo-Japanese war, how do you think Japan was able to build such a mighty military machine to send into southeast Asia? It is also important to note that Japan had never been occupied by a foreign army until the US came after WWII. Just ask Kublai Khan about that!! My apologies to everyone if it seems like I'm rambling. I just wanted to make the point that China is behind Chinese economic power and Japan is behind Japanese economic power. |

The writer of Daniel also seemed to fail to understand the Persia was the senior partner and Media was the junior partner....not. In Daniel 8 a Ram is described which has a long horn that grew up later (Persia) which also has a smaller horn which grew up earlier (Media). This "Ram" is defeated by the Greeks via Alexander the Great (a goat with a prominent horn). |
