I remember you saying it.
I just don't remember you ever proving it.
I know this is a minor point on the ethnicity of Cyrus however his grandfather was Astyages, the last Median King.

You've already been told why this is not reliable. So I invite you to do the same thing: stop claiming this, and actually prove it.

No, Europe is not the force behind the economic powers of China and Japan. China had swaths of its territories under European control due to the unequal port-treaty systems that were set up by the early European imperialists. It was during this time that the Chinese had to put up with the insult of seeing signs saying, "No dogs or Chinese allowed." This foreign rule was mostly limited to the coastal areas, in no way can we say that the whole of China was a European colony. During this time the Manchu dynasty still ruled China, they did so until the Nationalist revolution led by Sun Yat-sen happened and the last emperor Pu Yi abdicated power. China was overrun by Japan, even then Japanese power was mostly confined to the urban areas, when they ventured out into the countryside they had to deal with guerilla warfare. Economic development in China really began to accelerate under the Nationalist government which was in its final form was led by Chiang Kai-shek. Even then, he did not have a completely unified China as he had to contend with various regional warlords. Total unification really happened after the Communists came to power and consolidated their rule. Chinese economic development proceeded under Communist rule, outside help came from the Soviet Union, which was never a part of the Roman Empire.

Japan's economic development also came from internal sources and from US trade deals. Japan was an economic powerhouse that began its ascent after defeating Russia in the Russo-Japanese war, how do you think Japan was able to build such a mighty military machine to send into southeast Asia? It is also important to note that Japan had never been occupied by a foreign army until the US came after WWII. Just ask Kublai Khan about that!!

My apologies to everyone if it seems like I'm rambling. I just wanted to make the point that China is behind Chinese economic power and Japan is behind Japanese economic power.

As far as world empires go the Roman Empire collapsed from within and faded away and wasn't immediately replaced by another world empire in the way the Roman Empire replaced the Greek Empire before it. According to Christian theology, or mythology if you prefer, the next world empire will be the revised roman empire which will in part be attacked by the "Kings of the East,"which is typically interpreted as an asian army.

Historically laughable and incorrect.

Also wrong.

According to Christian theology,
Which you apparently can't even describe without contradicting yourself.

In truth I have no patience for it. Which is why you won't see me spoon-feeding or tolerating arnoldo or sugarhitman.

It was always Persia who ultimately held the reins of power – recall that Cyrus had conquered the Medes in 550 BCE and made them subject to Persia. The most accurate description of the invasion of Babylon would be “Invasion of the Persians”.

<edit...brevity>

The writer of Daniel also seemed to fail to understand the Persia was the senior partner and Media was the junior partner....not. In Daniel 8 a Ram is described which has a long horn that grew up later (Persia) which also has a smaller horn which grew up earlier (Media). This "Ram" is defeated by the Greeks via Alexander the Great (a goat with a prominent horn).
