That I love myself(agape: a trust, a respect, a giving relationship) enough to have control over myself and my actions...and not go around acting a fool. ...So if I truly love my neighbor, I will want to have control over his life and actions...so he doesn't go around acting a fool. I can't think of anything MORE Christian than that. See, its not a contradiction...its a fanciful power-trip. Besides, you are supposed to love the Lord above all things, including yourself and your neighbor. Hell awaits for those who don't. |
