The Bible is considered the Holy Word from God. If you don't believe in what the bible says, then why should God believe in you? God has us in a no-win situation. Obey him or be punished. It's really that simple. There is no alternative.

The Bible is considered the Holy Word from God. If you don't believe in what the bible says, then why should God believe in you? God has us in a no-win situation. Obey him or be punished. It's really that simple. There is no alternative.
There is no proof that the bible is the Word of God. Should I go on your say-so? I think not.

My studies of historical criticism has convinced me that the collection of writings in the bible are strictly human documents.

How so? How could that be possible if Good & Evil didn't exist yet? You are putting the carriage in front of the horse..
The resolution of the contradiction is easily resolved by acknowledging that the story simply doesn't make sense. When your assumptions lead to contradiction, a rational mind has to change them. You don't try to equivocate them away by claiming red is blue.

It is considered the work of a demon by those subscribing to gnostic tradition. How do you know you are right and they are wrong?

You claim you have a rational mind.. so could you tell me why you believe God is evil, and the billions of people before you claim God is love?

What bible verses did you read that everyone else throughout history has missed?

Do you think you have a "latest discovery" on the texts of the bible?

Marvel comics says that a radioactive spider gave Spiderman his powers. Modern science explains how this could have happened, but they are baffled how 1960s scientists would have been this far advanced in the science field. The only solution is God made it happen.

:rolling: Why would "modern science" care about a fictional Arc? And could you cite a credible scientist who is "baffled" by this?

I take it that you don't watch the Discovery channel or the National Geographic? Go through your TV guide and search for these programs.. you will be amazed at what modern scientists are saying about the bible, and how it defies every law of science.
