Who Was the Greatest Sage? Diogenes or (canonical) Jesus?
For my part, I think Diogenes to be the greater man, if only for not condemning his enemies to any hell but the ones they create on earth for themselves.

My modesty prevents me from voting.
FYI, the Jesus of the Gospels did nor condemn anyone to hell either. |

Is the question supposed to mean "who of the two was greater" or "who was the greatest sage ever"? In the second case, I guess there are some more candidates, such as Buddha, Socrates, maybe Epicurus.

I chose Jesus just for being more gutsy and using more brainteasing allegories (esp in the Gospel of Thomas, if the apocrypha count).
