Probability that common names are shared in Two Teams, once, twice, thrice, etc, etc, etc

Players' names are selected at random from each of two opposing Alexandrian Theological Schools of the 3rd century. Assume there were 1000 available Greek names to choose from, and that the sizes of the two opposing 3rd century Alexandrian school teams were each 35 players. (even though the Platonists probably greatly outnumbered the christians).

The probability that 1 pair of players share a name is 70.6%.
The probability that 2 pairs of players share a name is 34.6%
The probability that 3 pairs of players share a name is 12.6%
The probability that 4 pairs of players share a name is 3.6%
The probability that 5 pairs of players share a name is 0.8%

Do you get the drift, at all yet?

This does not provide proof but raises suspicion that very important and influential names in the apostolic succession of the 3rd century Alexandrian Platonists suddenly appeared in Eusebius's Church History as the names of very important and influential 3rd century Alexandrian Christians.

The two Alexandrians Ammonius the Christian and Ammonius Saccas the father of Neoplatonism.

The two Alexandrians Origen the Christian and Origen the Platonist.

The two Alexandrians Anatolius the Christian Bishop (later of Laodicea) and Anatolius the Platonist mathematician.

The two Porphyrii - Porphyry the Christian author (as asserted by Eusebius) and Porphyry the Platonist.


Were there two Origens, and two Ammonii and two Anatolii and two Porphyrii in the 3rd century,
each pair drawn from the one of the two opposing theological schools, the Christians and the Platonists?
I think from analysis of the probability that such a scenario is reasonably unlikely ....
