Do you have to jump off a cliff to know it ain't a good idea?

Scientific advance is done through observation, making errors and correcting the observation. One doesn't have to go into a black hole to observe the phenomenon.

You wouldn't know.

This is a cute attempt at denying scientific methodology.

You have no methodology to know what an open mind is. No vantage point. The tree cannot see the forest. You use this forum for your own need apparently without interest in the people here.

Well I certainly hope this is not the case. I did try to answer your question the best I could, but just because I didn't mention an interest in others does not mean I do not have it.

But I will keep your comments in mind.

All the best.

From what I've seen in your posting here, you've fundamentally had one thing that interests you, the vain notion that the gospels were written in Aramaic, so almost always whenever you comment it is to drag this assumption into the conversation. You persist in doing so even when it is apparent that you don't have the tools to be able to comment meaningfully on the issue. Such involvement is what suggests to me that you are not interested in the community. I will be happily to be proven wrong.

Thanks, now I understand the previous comment.

Interestingly my point was very similar, except that it was about Aramaic!

Might be getting a little cloudy way up there in Zion?

Lets see my recent posts or ones I have joined. nearly all the posts do do with aramaic are started by others.

http://www.iidb.org/vbb/search.php?searchid=810695

1.A question on the Aramaic words in the gospels.

2.A question on the geneology of Jesus.

3. A question on the peshitta from Chris

4. a question on Aramaic dialects from Chris

5. A question on the Old syriac gospels from Peter.

6. You resurrecting an old peshitta thread.

7. you starting a new pehitta thread (for me)

8. Another geneology thread from chris.

These threads are all started by others (or resurrected on one occasision)

Compare this with one thread started by me on Aramaic (which was a response to another thread anyway) and various other threads in other forums.

Judge,

Just because we start the threads doesn't mean you must continue to insert at every possible instance your uninformed thoughts on the Peshitta Primacy Theory, including your Aramaic Duct Tape Solution. My Peshitta thread and the genealogy threads have little or nothing to do with PPT, and that doesn't detract from you chiming in with disinformation or bogus that we have already debunked numerous times.

Yes, I'll remember to keep my glasses on at all times. Thanks for starting my morning off with a good laugh.

Chris if you take the time to read the posts you will see there is no mention of peshitta primacy in your threads. :Cheeky:

As for the geneology thread, if Johnnyboy or any one else in interested in arguments re the geneologies I will be happy to make abrief post, as I did.

If Spin insists on arguing the point, yet again, then so what?

Johnnyboy is obviously not stupid, he grasps the relevant issues easily.

It would be quoite easy just for spin to link to his previous arguments, from the outset, unless he has something new to add.

have a nice day.
