The above post constitute direct evidence that
Huon = Evil therefore Huon = Devil (Disclaimer: This is not meant to infer that Huon is The Devil, since the Devil cannot, by definition, be French. Instead, it is meant as indicating that Huon is simply A Devil.) |

Wrong. You have a perspective on what you as an atheist thought. Period. Atheists don't think alike much at all other than their agreement that there is no credible evidence for the existence of god. Sorry, you lost me after your declaration of "unique perspective". |

Newsflash, everyone used to be an atheist, as everyone was born without a belief in God. Also, I'd say many, if not most of the people on this forum are former Christians, so we generally also meet the standard for what you would call a "unique perspective". |

The essay is here, on the OP's listed website.
Nightmare Hero claims to be a Gnostic Christian. Most of us atheists here probably prefer Gnostic Christians to the orthodox, if only on esthetic grounds, or just because we root for the underdog, and it is interesting to contemplate how history might have been different if the Gnostics had prevailed. But I can't see any value to modern people in resurrecting this 1st century way of thinking, and it seems even less interesting than modern paganism. In any case, this essay seems a strange combination of belief in God and the gospels, along with an attempt to make some sense of them. I don't think this effort is any more successful in the 21st century than it was in the 2nd, even though we have better drugs. |
