The star of Betlehem is the equivalent of the white candle in the Advent wreath that the believer recognizes as his very own baptism candle that leads to the exchange of power wealth and beauty (as presented in Gen.3:6) for faith hope and charity in the mind of the believer. This really is the formal cause of metanoia.

Yes, it is the actual presence of the angel Gabriel who interferes with our interpretation of the light of common day-- which is an illusion at best-- and therefore can cause the darkness that brings the grand epiphany of life about, wherefore the shepherds were out herding sheep on that holy night when the inner child was reborn to us here now being affirmed. IOW , it is where the annunciation comes full circle for which the precondition is the 'closing of our eyes' that once were 'opened so we could see' here now replaced with our vision of the celestial light so we can walk on water. This is the efficient cause of matanoia and the final cause is the recall of the shepherds to be apostles and effectively go the other way in the material world.

Is that still English?

No, 25 is the right time in that the number 5 is the inversion of the number 2 to indicate the inversion of faith that we once had in our faculty of reason.

It is a glimmer of hope that they zero in on.

Aah. That explains it. Unfortunately it doesn't explain why it make no sense when you invert XXV. I can see where you're going with your faculty for reason being inverted though.

Melchior and Caspar came from the East but Balthasar came from the South-East. Balthasar represent the contributions made by Joseph which are those he left behind when he entered upon his journey to Bethlehem because they were made in sin (sin is where two polar opposites create the essence of existences in the stand-off or rout that here is called sin).
