Default off topic insult fest split from Jewish Arguments against Jesus

The Jews have constantly, and since "Dialogue with Trypho", written around 150 CE, denied that the character described by Justin Martyr, Jesus Christ, ever came to earth.

There is no extant credible non-apologetic information that in the 1st century the Jews claimed Jesus Christ was on earth and was their own.
Mythicism is just a last-ditch attempt by pagans to tell Jews who Christ is.

Wasn't it you who a couple weeks ago proclaimed that "mythicism" was a last ditch attempt of evolutionists to deny Jesus? Where are you getting this shit from?

And oh yes, you also told me "You're da man".

You're such a cute robot.

(Lk. 4) The crowd is thrilled until he compares himself to Elisha and Elijah, and how they helped gentiles during times of Jewish distress. Then they try to throw him off a cliff.
In this passage he is identifying himself as a prophet, not as the Messiah. When people called him the Messiah, he did not deny it. This, however, is merely his attempt to make himself comprehensible to his listeners by identifying himself with the tropes with which they are familiar.

You're right, he's wrong. Mythicism actually is the hypothesis developed by amateurs unfamiliar with actual historical criticism and pushed on by those who either have an aversion to Christianity in particular (extreme bias) or who don't bother to get in touch with modern scholarship (ignorant and proud of it).

I'm not making any claim about Jesus existing or not. All I'm saying is that both explanations for mythicism that the robot offered are ridiculous.

I also noticed you were here and figured you wouldn't be able to resist replying to me in a negative fashion.

You are the man, to remember that.

So here's the answer: paganism and evolutionism are essentially one and the same. The former puts God at the beginning of time, and the latter puts God at the end of time. Neither has any use for the man who put himself in God's place.

Of course I remember. It was just over a week ago and I'm not 90 years old.

Where is Jeffrey Gibson when we need him with his Twilight Zone music?

I guess that's what he was going for, but I've got a hunch he dislikes me more.
