I chose the name "Pervy Hobbit Fancier" when I first joined, on the spur of the moment.

I have hated it ever since.

A discussion about user-names in the MCR (the Moderator's Conference Room - when someone has a complaint and we say that we will discuss it and get back to them, that's the forum where the discussion takes place) prompted me to ask for a change of name.

I was going to change it to something else entirely, but then someone suggested simply shortening it to "Pervy", and I liked the idea.

At the risk of being a total pain in the ass, I liked the hobbit fancier tagged to the end .. it had idiosyncracy
