Now could you please stop with the stupid questions? All the above shows is that you have never bothered to study the Bible, only find verses that you can criticize while remaining ignorant. |

10 And Moses and Aaron did all these wonders before Pharaoh: and the LORD hardened Pharaoh's heart, so that he would not let the children of Israel go out of his land." That's not judgement, that's God deciding he wants an excuse to kill people and show off and then making a situation where he will be able to justify doing so. What a petty and oh-so-human God you worship. |

If a pair of cops raided the house of one of your neighbors, dragged an infant's cot out on to the front lawn, tipped the baby out, and blew its brains out: would you lodge a complaint with the appropriate authorities, or would you just shrug and say "they're the law, and I'm a law-abiding citizen, so that's OK, and I assume the kid's parents did something really bad"? Do you agree with the general principle of punishing innocents for the crimes of others? I'm curious to know if your "morality shutdown mode" applies to authority-figures in general, or only to the alleged actions of your God. |

This is referring to what the Egyptians owe the Israelites for their forced labor. Read dueteronomy 15:12-14. Its wrong to do work or a service for someone without them offering something in return. Thats what this is stating, that the Egyptians will give over jewels to the Israelites before they leave after the Pharaoh lets them go. It is not stealing.
Yeah. That's why YHWH, when he was handing down the Law to the Israelites, included strict prohibitions against the practice of slavery. |

Stoning children was OK because it was 3000 years ago? How anyone can be so delusional as to accept such brutality is beyond me. And they say atheists have no morals. That's it, I'm done with his thread. Magus won't answer my question anyway.

to Magus and hope's daughter
I'm still waiting for the scriptures where Jesus asserts that he is God. Not apologetical scriptures about him being "the way", but where he asserts being divine.
