jesus supports abortion
"The Son of man indeed goeth, as it is written of him: but woe to that man by whom the Son of man is betrayed! good were it for that man if he had never been born"...........Mark 14:21
This is one instance when jesus explicitly stated that abortion would be a superior alternative to the pro-life stance. Along the same lines, if the "road is narrow and few find it" to heaven (implying most everyone goes to hell), then abortion would definitely keep some souls from an eternal hell-fire. all this that i'm saying seems to be a valid argument that genuinely appeals to compassion, so how could any conservative possibly refute this in good conscience? |

If the OP is serious, see this thread. It's already been discussed there. Or maybe the Mods can merge that one into this because this seems like a more appropriate place to discuss this than in Religious Discussions.

I don't see the joke.
The Jesus character is speaking in figurative language, and I would not read too much into it. |

I've always found this saying of Jesus incredibly problematic (although not for the reason cited in the OP). It certainly doesn't fit in with later Christian theology that Jesus had to die. In my opinion, Judas should be commended by Christian believers everywhere; he helped make possible their salvation.
