What is your definition of proof?
The same as yours - the ordinary one.

1. evidence sufficient to establish a thing as true, or to produce belief in its truth.

Did you really think that trying to argue the definition of "proof" would buy you any time, arnoldo? Stop stalling, get off your ass, and prove your interpretation.

Shame on them...not on Him. <wave>
Yes, I agree Jesus did NOT know the mind of God.
Uhh.... I guess I also agree also that Yeshua did not know the mind of God, NOT.

Right... remember the "no two stones" prophecy as well as "destroy this temple and three days I will raise it up" prophecy. . .

Ok, so a fictional character creates paranoia and division....nice.

Yup, the authors who wrote the gospels in the third century were pretty good fictional writers who wanted to scare the population. . . Boo! Stephen King would be proud. . .

Yup Jim Jones, David Koresh, Yeshua are all pretty much the same. . .

Right. . . and the State of Israel will cease to exist also . . .

I don't like hitman's interpretation nearly as much as the Wandering Jew.

Quote:
According to some sources, the legend stems from Jesus's words given in Matthew 16:28:

'Verily I say unto you, There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of Man coming in his kingdom.'(King James Version)[1]
In order for this statement to be true, Jesus condemns a random Jew who irritates him to not die until the Second Coming.

Some postulate that the Wandering Jew may in fact be Bigfoot (although most believe that Bigfoot is actually Cain).

Wrong, Bigfoot is the missing link between mutated chimps and humans :Cheeky:

The state of Israel is influenced by many things. Religion, Geography, Ethnicity, etc. This is called demographics. It is not at all influenced by prophecy in an ancient collection of books.
You are absolutely right that the State of Israel is influenced by demographics. Israel was also influenced by demographics in the OT and yet God supernaturally intervened at various points in time in Israel's history.

Please visit the E/C forum so that you might become educated regarding evolution and cease repeating this tired canard that serves only to emphasize one's ignorance. Chimps did not mutate to become humans. Chimps and humans share a common ancestor.

At the very least, stop saying such silly things in this forum. The silly things you say here should be related to the Bible.

Thanks in advance,

Uhh... I prefer to read the text book I have in front of me at the moment: Biology: The University and Diversity of Life than to get 'educated at the E/C forum

Ok, chimps and humans share a common ancestor which mutated in order to form modern chimps and humans.

Hey, Arnoldo, here's a novel idea: Instead of simply posting these one-line replies to posts on this forum, where you can substitute a flippant response for a cogent argument, why don't you actually post what you believe? Air it out, big fella, let yourself go. Post something that's actually longer than a sentence or two. With some reasons to back up what you're saying. Put yourself on the line, so people can engage in an intelligent debate with you. Come on, you can do it, dude.

Thanks dude for the advice. I actually used to do that but I would get a lot of the following in response to my attempt to provide a meaningful explanation.

<edit. rants deleted> ..... <edit.. preaching excised>.... arnoldo stated, blah,blah,blah.
But don't let me stop you, go ahead a post your thesis on the subject and I'll be more than happy to critique it.
