There are some links here to EBLA articles and topics. I hope they can be saved in some form.

It is sad that Ebla is ending but that thread is a hoot and a half. This Geoff Hudson fellow thinks that Stephen C. Carlson, Peter Kirby, and Yuri Kuchinsky (among many others) are fictional sock puppets for Jeffrey Gibson?

Can the secular web host some of the articles in the Ebla library? I would especially be interested in Joel's Introduction to Biblical Archaeology series.

We would probably need Joel's permission, or the current Ebla owners. Someone on that thread offered to host an archive, and didn't get very far - I don't quite understand why.

He wrote to me also with the same accusation, in terms that suggested strongly some kind of illness was involved. I sent him a soothing reply and never heard more from him.

All the best,

He has a weblog, as well.

You think you know someone, Roger, and then you find out he or she was Jeffrey Gibson all along.

Ben.

That's right! You are one of Jeffrey's sockpuppets, too!!!

I have to hand it to Gibson. He must be a fabulous actor to carry off so many different roles.
