First than all, it should be cleared that the character Mark, which was credited in pseudo-epigraphic way the composition of the relative gospel (ie the Mark's Gospel), has absolutely nothing to do with it, since he was and remained a heathen all his life. (perhaps converted, no manifest also, to Judaism: more than enough pretext for forger fathers of the origins, to make of him a 'Christian'!)

The association then of such a character with the city of Alexandria, it comes from a further ambiguity: namely the fact that the character John called 'Mark' (see Acts of the Apostles), quite different from the character correlated with the homonymous canonic gospel, resided for a certain time in Alexandria, before embarking for Ephesus, where he ended his life (*). It is probable that in Alexandria he founded a sect (gnostic), as it did in southern Gaul (sect of 'marcosiani').

Greetings

Did the proposed author also author the "nomina sacra" abbreviations which are physically discernible across the entire set of earliest Greek manuscript tradition evidence?

Did anyone review the play?

Was the script stored in the libraries of Alexander or under the author's pillow?

Did Apollo make an appearance?

Was the Logos Greek?

Was Rome also amused?

How could Eusebius have made such a mistake in his - ummm, ummm, -- research?

Was Mark related to Mark Anthony?

Was the public PASSION of the Jewish JC related to the public PASSION of imperial JC?

Was the play a success?

Is it still running in a basilica near you?

Are there too many answers and not enough questions?
