Default Dung In The Bible, It Is There! !!!!!!!

Malichi 2:3 "Behold I will coorupt your seed and spread DUNG upon your faces"
King James Virsion.

Then you get the fundy that shouts

"NO NO NO, the NEW INTERNATIONAL VERSION SAYS "refuse"

Ok, take your pick, dung or trash? Would God spread it in your face?

"Oh no," says the fundy, "Its a metaphore threatening the Levites to behaive".
"Like when your dad threatened to knock you into next Tuesday".

Really? It would seem a parlor trick compaired to eternal suffering which is far worse. Now, if hell is real, then fecal matter would be involved wouldnt it? If all horrible things are part of hell? And if God can do whatever he wants then spreading Dung or trash on your face should be child's play. I ment trash, or is it dung?

There's even a bit where it used the word PISS too.

2 Kings 18:27 But Rabshakeh said unto them, Hath my master sent me to thy master, and to thee, to speak these words? hath he not sent me to the men which sit on the wall, that they may eat their own dung, and drink their own piss with you?

I am curious about Ezekiel 4:12-15. Could those who know Hebrew tell me whether the prophet was commanded to use human/bovine excrements as fuel for baking cakes, or to put the substance directly into the dough?

Well this is a translation from the Latin Vulgate:

And thou shalt eat it as barley bread baked under the ashes: and thou shalt cover it, in their sight, with the dung that cometh out of a man.

http://www.latinvulgate.com/verse.aspx?t=0&b=31&c=4

This translation seems to clarify the eating the dung (as does the mention of defiled bread in the KJV) as opposed to use as fuel, which most modern translations render it as.

Now now, we must wait for the fundy to tell us to not take it out of context.

Its OK for one who buys into this whole conspiracy to take verses out of context and bash the unrighteous over the head with them in an attempt to numb their minds to a point where they will accept the supposed truth of the verse, but it is not OK for the unrighteous to point out the absurdity of the verse be it within or outside of the context? Seems a little like a double standard to me. If these verses, and the bible itself are to be thrust upon everyone then they are fair game in my opinion.

It would be nice to hear a fundy admit of metaphor, not to mention allegory and synecdoche. But alas.......
