Default Evidence for King Omri?

In an interesting blog post, Joe Cathey sites three pieces of evidence for the existence of Omri (apart from the Hebrew Bible):

1. The Black Obelisk of Shalmaneser ca. 828 BCE
2. The Kurkh Monolith of Shalmaneser ca. 853-2 BCE.
3. The Moabite Stone ca. 840 BCE.

I am aware of challenges to the authenticity of the Moabite Stone. Has the authenticity of the first two ever been questioned?

The evidence for Omri is not new and not seen as controversial in the scholarly world, as far as I know. I don't see why anyone would, or how anyone could, challenge the Shalmaneser inscriptions.
