In most cases, probably not. The disciples Peter, James, and John might have named after some leaders of the Jerusalem church mentioned by Paul. And, John the Baptist seems to have actually existed. But Jesus himself was most likely just a figment of the gospel authors' imaginations.

Not for a second. Even if Jesus was real, he didn't make any dead people come back to life.

No.

I'd have to write a book to answer that question.

Since I don't believe he was ever here, obviously not.

The authors all had different agendas. John's was more different than the others'.

Their disbelief is one reason among many others for doubting that anybody actually witnessed any resurrection.

Nothing. I'm not puzzled by the fact that people write stories about events that never really happened.

An unqualified "No" to #1-#6.

7. Matthew 25:35-40 is the only part of the Gospels that I've ever found the least bit interesting.

8. AFAIK, nowhere. And, no.

9. Semi-mythical human with a bad case of apotheosis.

10. Wasn't copied from one of the others.

11. He didn't resurrect anyone. In fact, he may not have existed at all.

12. The fact that many people think the Gospels reflect actual events.

13. No favourites.

14. No.

15. Don't know one way or the other.
