Default Jesus DID Fulfill His Promise - Atheists will squirm in their seats

I know a lot of atheists like to use the Bible verse where Jesus states: "This generation will not pass away before my return."

Atheists laugh and say "See?! Aha! Jesus didn't return within the generation!! It's been 2,000 years! LOOOL!!"

Now, Jesus said this, he was cricified, died, and rose again and appeared and even went to visit his disciples.

Where's the problem atheists? He RETURNED 3 days later just like he said he would return before the generation passed away.

I challenege any atheist on here to prove me wrong.

I see no inconsistency with Jesus' words and him appearing after he died.

In other words, "Jesus predicted he would return and SOME STANDING HERE WILL NOT TASTE DEATH until they see the son of Man coming."

Is this not what happened? Did he not return and saw his disciples before they TASTED DEATH?

Do you not have an answer?

Your lame argument is called preterism. It's refuted with a dozen references, the most obvious is 2 Peter 3, written in 150 CE, which said that Jesus had not fulfilled his promise to return. What do I win? The gnosis offered by Jesus in GoT?

He didn't return - he arose into the sky to sit at the right hand of God. His prediction was that he would return on the clouds with power. That hasn't happened.

It's just that... concerning your evidence--the Bible as fact when it's being discussed as the premise in this--ridiculous arguments--I-I-I-I

He ascended to Heaven and is in power right now. Where's the problem?
