Recent "Gospels not written for local communities" studies?
I thought I recalled not long ago seeing "somewhere in web land" a new scholarly book to be published that apparently supported Eysinga's argument that the canonical gospels were not originally composed for local church communities but were intended for all those of the faith everywhere.
Does anyone else know of this work, or one that has recently been published? Or is my memory just fantasizing? Thanks, Neil Godfrey http://vridar.wordpress.com |
