Do we have two separate mythical people - one earth bound, the other heavenly - "Jesus" and "Christ" who for the sake of the story - about death - were joined together, and the human bit - Jesus - later blown up like a ballooon - to make the story feel more real? Vork, your links are fascinating, is Crispin Fletcher Louis working from an assumed HJ paradigm, has anyone reworked these types of arguments from an MJ perspective? The quote from the Westminster confession, and thinking about my experience, seems to be saying that xians unconsciously acknowledge two seperate persons - Jesus and Christ. Has anyone summarised how these terms are used, when separately, when together, and looked at the timeline? |
