I went up against DoctorDoom when he was on another forum of which the current one appears to be a carbon copy. Forums that DD moderates just keep going belly-up for some reason. This is the third forum I know of that he as moderated. The other two are gone.

Anyway, there is essentially no moderation over there and DD is just too nasty and insulting for it to be worth it. If there were actally a lot of people reading that forum it might be worth doing it for the lurkers. But I have never seen more than 35 people on that board at one time and the most people that board has ever had online at one time is 106.

The effort required to endure posting over there would be better spent at a forum with a lot more people on-line.

I spent a little bit of time in that sewer a while back.. I didn't have the stomach to keep it up. In my experience, the sheer stupidity over there eclipsed even RaptureReady, and the incessant vitriol was unparalleled.

Dr Doom would purposely sabotage threads that he was getting his ass handed to himself in, by trying to start a flame war and then moving the thread to their "flame wars" forum, when he was the only one doing any of the flaming.

To my eternal shame I am a member of that site. I went there a few weeks ago and posted for a little bit.

The regulars on that site are extremely homophobic which is not surprising but what was kind of surprising to me is that just about all the male members can't get into a disagreement without using anal references.

Hybrid Angel went to the site and got banned after maybe 20 posts. He became my hero!

I do remember that it took about a day to get the confirming email.

When I was there I pissed some people off and they googled my name (I was stout drinker there as well) and someone posted my iidb profile. During the Schaivo discussions, one person who posted there was banned even though he thought the feeding tube should remain in because he thought people should respect court rulings they disagree with. The administrator (a lovely lady named War Lady) announced where the user was located and insinuated that he was Michael Schaivo and needed to justify killing his wife.

I just got banned at free conservatives. I said that the moral of Sodom and Gomorrah was not to bugger angels and if an angel is about to be buggered its preferable to have your daughters raped.

Then if the daughters want to get pregnant they can liquor up their dad and make him a grandpa.

That forum is amazing. People in that thread weren't listening to a damn thing, either that or they're just plain stupid. And everyone was using ad hominem attacks, even the moderators.

I guess this is what happens when you make technology easy to use.

Wow. Just wow. I've never seen a bigger group of dense, ignorant humans in one forum in my life. Rapture Ready is a pleasant read in comparison!
