Default www.freeconservatives.com -what is atheism?

A thread was started over at FC.com

"Explain Atheism

For those of you who are atheists please explaine it, how it works, and how it gives us answers to our origin"

http://www.freeconservatives.com/vb/...5&page=1&pp=20.

I just thought I'd point it out. The site is heavily conservative and anti-atheist, so it might be worth giving it a go

That site is a lot of work. I had to leave before I would die from stupidity overexposure. I tried to discuss the existence of god, and I got the feeling that what they didn't ignore they simply misunderstood.

Blind faith is considered by Doctor Doom to be the method applied by atheists to their non-belief. 14,000+ posts? I can't even begin to imagine the garbage bins he must have rifled through to support his assertions.

Good luck to anyone who goes over there. I don't think the bulk of posters there will really give a damn what any of us have to say. When I posted there, the shear dishonesty of the place was simply overwhelming. I had to leave myself for my own sanity.

BTW, this is exactly the kind of thing we should be doing. Discovering conversations about atheists, dropping in, and leaving a few thoughtful remarks like flower petals lying around for people to experience. Perhaps even hanging around. Thanks for the heads-up.

"The healthy do not need a physician."

We can tag-team'em. Sign up under one ID, then six of us can use it. That ought to blow their minds....LOL. "Look, there's Vorkosigan and his split personalities again."

I've tried posting over there, and it is very difficult because there's no moderation, and they tend to use ad homs towards anyone they disagree with.

It is tempting but is that not the very thing that would annoy the hell out of us if a bunch of "thinkers" from freeconservatives did the same? My account on CF was inactivated after 19 minutes when I responded to someone asking others what they thought the weather would be like in heaven. I asked whether menus were handed out at the entrance.

IOW their arguments have just emerged from the posterior of a generous individual.

Yeah, what the hell, i'm feeling extraordinarily masochistic today. :banghead:

Edited to add: On second thought, maybe i'll just fuck with them? That Doctor Doom character is a sleeve short of a full pack of oreos.
