Observation of original sin
I was wondering had anyone ever noticed how the idea of Adam's fall and its relevant importance in the Christian theme of salvation is not mentioned except via Paul? It seems that he vanishes and resurfaces from Paul's mentioning him. Ezekiel, Isaiah, Obadiah, and no other prophets fail to acknowledge what appears to be a critical tenet to the faith. Have I missed their observation of this part of history? To our knowledge were they aware of such a story or an ideology that embraced such a concept?

No, it is not a Jewish notion and all the Prophets were Jews. The Christians would argue that the Bible reveals Gods Word over a period of time and is not complete till the end of Revelations in the NT.
So they could not have known till then. |
