Exodus 21:15-17 and Leviticus 20:9
What do the passages of Exodus 21:15-17 and Leviticus 20:9 mean exactly in the context of the original Hebrew words? Most people I've talked to say the law applied to grown children due to the context and that "cursing" means to repudiate and be in utter contempt of a parent instead of just saying profanity at them and that Exodus 21:15 means specifically "smiting", a parent. Is this true?
