The woman is the man's crown. To be his crown makes her queen and there is no king without a crown. Man is just the person beneath the crown who thinks he is wearing a crown, but really, it is the crown that makes him king.

. . . but it is so true! Lets just sympathise with those who do not see it that way, and and worse yet, those who step on the very stone they try to lift. Poor people. (and I know you know).

No, it only makes her an ornate piece of costume jewelry -- i.e., property.

So all we have to do is knock the pope's goofy headdress off and he loses the authority to forbid contraception??? :Cheeky: Of course, he can't get married either -- there goes another "crown" ...

Exactly. A key element in most religions is to make sure women are kept in their place. They can't be priests, or men can have multiple wives--but not vice-versa, women aren't allowed to preach, they have to stay up in the balcony (muslims), they can't constitute a quorum (judaism) and on and on.

It's a wonder that women haven't recognized long ago that organized religion has been one of the main advocates of female inferiority.

Lady Macbeth in England hath no name but Lady Macbeth to show that she was his equal partner. There was no exchange there, and no maturing, just boredom and monotony that became the agony of Macbeth on a flat world -- and that is exactly why Macbeth wanted to be "King hereafter" (can you blame him? he was hoping that heaven would be 'rounder').

Cf Coriolanus in Rome where the world is round.

The argument here is that when you place woman equal to man you place religion equal with the state and blend (neuter) the Upper house with the Lower house, while you (impersonal), in broad daylight, will argue for a separation of Church and State (and that is agony in motion).

Man is reason, woman is inspiration and these two do not mix unless you want doubt to prevail.

So to make this clear, John (generic), the woman is the city of God, or the city of Nazareth, or Rome in the Universal (even if you never went to Church in the particular). The difficulty is that she is far beyond our human understanding and deserves our respect ever since we fell in love we the woman that we do not know . . . wherefore love is blind but is ours to unfold so we might crown here queen in the Coronation (Ave Maria; Rev.21:9).

It is wrong to say that religion is wrong or that religion has failed. It is we who failed since religion must cuckold us and not the other way around (or religion would not need to be if that is where it ends).
