If Jesus were a carpenter he would have made a wife for himself out of a man's rib instead of hanging around with a whore.

Magdalene may have been a prostitute but she was no whore and Jesus did not hang around her but was getting ready for a permanent departure from her.

Default Chili on carpentry split from Jesus the Carpenter

Readers, for those of you who don't know it, Chili does not really believe anything at all that he posts. He has admitted on several occasions that he visits the Secular Web purely for entertainment. He might be a very lonely and bored recluse looking for someone to talk to. Don't expect to have any serious discussions with Chili. I quit replying to his posts months ago. He will probably make some ridiculous reply to this post, which of course I will not answer. Unlike most people, his replies are not intended to persuade, but to engage. Life is quite brief. There are many serious problems in the world that need to be discussed, but Chili chooses to waste precious time trying to create utterly useless discussions that never result in anything useful.

But I love the thread titles starting with "Chili split" that end up here in ~E~!

They make me think of something yummy from Dairy Queen.

Anyway, you're free to ignore them.

jesus a carpenter? since when? no one....absolutely NO ONE has any record of what he did until he was "jesus". for all we know he freeloaded off his parents, or they sheltered him beyond belief ( no pun intended)

Descending hither saying;
Son, if you will be a skilled and wise Master Builder like unto me, make first for yourself a simple carpenters chest, with all skill suitable to a tradesman, build it well, and it shall be your pride and treasure for all of your days.
Make it strong, even out of the finest shittim wood, so that it might endure all buffeting;
And that it might always contain and preserve ready your sharpest tools, with your building line, plummet, and square.

Son, take heed now to my advice, and give ear unto my instruction, to build it according to the pattern which I shall show you;
Two cubits and a half shall it be in length, and a cubit and a half shall it be in width, and a cubit and a half shall be the height thereof.

Grave your name upon it, that all may know it is the work of Your hand, and that no man might steal, nor claim it.

Oh hi Johnny, like the bible is a lie because Johnny has studied it for forty years and still can't make any sense out of it and now he is angry?
