Anyhoo, I'm writing this kind of inspired by the stuff on Pandas Thumb about the research output of ID types (i.e. nil). Despite Soc apparently being a scientist he has enough time to whine about not winning alumnus of the year and a whole host of other shit. He has even just responded to a post by RufusAtticus from 03-29-2003!!!!!

Well, I'm not entirely sure, I mainly play around in the science area and don't get too involved elsewhere. However, I think there is a chance he was moderated for his behaviour and this prompted a long lay off. I guess he may have been doing some speaking as well what with his new book being out.

He has definately fallen foul of the admin and some of the regulars there though. DDW appears to be quite put out by him a fairly large amount of the time. Solly (a good guy) has spoken to him privately on a number of occasions. Obviously Soc being the worthless worm that he is takes all this very seriously!

ok. I got the impression that it was something a bit more notorious. I see his marvelous ad hom againt rufus. really "christian" eh? still it's all in the name of the lord, so I suppose that makes it ok

It may well have been, I'm not really the one to ask. I think he was banned but the length of time he was away suggests to me that he was doing something else.

As for that post, yeah its his usual feeble crap. I was going to reply, but I didn't want to be wasting his valuable research time!
