From the Noahs Ark thread:

Well, it's been awhile since we've since this standard apologetic used.

So for the sake of conversation and to give the theists a fair chance...

Magus, would you (or any other theist here) care to list these discoveries which prove the truth of the Bible?

We're listening....

I'll play Devil's Advocate and use something we've heard but I'm sure not a lot of us not really know.

"The Dead Sea Scrolls being discovered proves it is truth."

I fail to see how that would do anything other than set a limit on the upper date of authorship....

I've read 'em. Pity they don't mention Jeebus anywhere. They do however serve to make Gainax one of the most profitable studios in existence.

The Bible says that Enoch and Elijah were taken up to heaven. Therefore they could not have been buried. No one has ever found their tombs. How much more proof is needed for you hyperskeptics anyway? Jeepers.

Still no takers?

I can only surmise that Magus and his theist friends have no concrete examples for us....

It is not their task to educate willfully ignorant heathens such as yourself who are biased against truth and will only ridicule the scientific evidence.

Or something like that. . . .

You forgot the part about not being able to see the truth until you've decided to believe it....
