Default The Freakiest End Times Prophecy?

What is your vote for the freakiest end times prophecy in the bible? Giant Hailstones? The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse rampaging across the earth? Swarms of locusts coming out of the bottomless pit? The sea turning to blood?

My second favourite is the sight of the four angels standing at the four corners of the earth holding back the four winds. Can't wait to see that one!

My vote though has to go to when the great Dragon grabs a third of the stars of heaven and casts them down to earth. Our only hope for survival will be if we're on the daytime side of the earth when that happens. All of the stars are on the nightime side and they could cause some damage when they land.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but hadn't all the stars already fallen to earth by this time?

Freaky end time: Anything involving boiling alive would fit the bill.

They like to overdo it a bit in the bible. Casting down one third of one single star on earth would nicely do the trick to evaporate the entire solarsystem in a blink. One has to remember though that this prophecy was written in a time when god himself apparantly had not yet realised that the stars which he had created are darned big things.

I'm kind of partial to the blood flowing in the streets up to a horse's bridle.

I'm holding out for the rapture, where all the believers will suddenly rise to heaven and those who didn't plan ahead won't be riding in convertibles.
