Default Ray Comfort's "Evidence Bible"

Has anyone seen The Evidence Bible website? It's basically Ray Comfort's apologetic defense of the Bible, and it has more false comparisons and failures of logic than you can shake a stick at.

Read it if you want a good hearty laugh. :funny:

Crowd Etiquette

If you have other Christians with you, have them form an audience and look as though they are listening to your preaching. This will encourage others to stop and listen. Tell the Christians to never stand with their back to the preacher. I have seen open-air meetings when a fellow laborer is preaching for the first time, and what are the Christians doing? They are talking among themselves. Why then should anyone stop and listen if those in front of the speaker aren’t even attentive? It is so easy to chat with friends when you’ve heard the gospel a million times before. I have found myself doing it, but it is so disheartening for the preacher to speak to the backs of a crowd.
Can you say shill?

Rather than practice deception, I suggest having a nekkid girl dancing next to the preacher. I guarantee people would stop then.

As you probably know, Ray Comfort and Kirk Cameron have a program on TBN where they point their camera at random people on the street and ask them questions, mostly about sin and salvation and evolution. They catch people off guard, and make most of them look shallow and ignorant. I have wondered if their cutting room floor has discarded footage of nonbelievers who were up to the task of giving informed answers to their questions.

They have my permission to wait until summer to harass people. Better yet, the summer of 2135.

When I was still deconverting I was reading several Christian apologists, hoping some of them would answer certain nagging questions about the Christian faith, and save me from my own demise. To no avail.

One guy was this Ray Comfort fellow. I read three chapters of one of his books about evidence that the Bible is true. It didn't take long before I was so disgusted by the lack of evidence in the book (well, what did I really expect?), and the lack of scholarly research to boot, that I wrote him a letter basically stating that my faith in the Christian God was waining and he was nailing the coffin shut for me. Thanks, Ray.

I haven't gotten a reply.

One of the worst things about Ray Comfort and Kirk Cameron is the fact that they use legal terminology and analogies the wrong way in a totally improper context. I find this totally insulting to those of us who study law. It also demonstrates their ignorance. They know as little about law as they do about evolutionary biology.

Oh I would imagine there is quite a bit of footage on the cutting room floor. In light of the assumption about God's law, I wonder how many people asked in return if Ray Comfort and Cameron have stopped beating their wives.
