But I am only trying to explain that there was no flesh to rot and that the "historical factoid" is there to present the allegory. Don't you see that without words you can't write allegories and to remove credibility from the historical facts they are often changed or used in an unusual way with the hope that believers will look beyond the literal intepretation and see the true meaning of the words used.

The problem is that there are no non-conventional words and so allegories and metaphors must fill this need if we want to discuss non-conventional issues.
