Giving Jesus Myth presentations...
Has anyone here ever given a public presentation on the Jesus Myth?
If you haven't, then why not? I'm going to be giving my 4th presentation on the subject this Sunday, and hope to give it again after that. It changes a little each time. I am by no means an authority on the subject or on Biblical scholarship, but the way I see it, no one else is doing so I may as well do it. The information really speaks for itself, the main thing is just getting it out there. My presentation is in the OpenOffice version of PowerPoint, called Impress. I'd be happy to let others use it, and make modifications if anyone here would use it to give presentations. If you are interested, and would like to use it to give a public presentation, let me know and I can put it up on an FTP site. I'd like to encourage people to speak out on this issue and start presenting this case to local communities. So far I have given it at UU, CFI event, Atheist Meetup group, and will be giving it to a local Humanist group. If you are involved with any of these types of groups, and you are comfortable giving public speeches, you should give it a shot. |

I'd like to see a panel for the 2007 SBL in San Diego. I'm so there.

I currently have no plans to present. However, if Earl Doherty or Richard Carrier or Robert Price or somesuch could attend, I would definitely be at that panel--perhaps on that panel! kind regards, Peter Kirby |

I had some requests for this, so I have this up on my website now at:
http://www.rationalrevolution.net/te...thPub_Orig.zip I am critically close to running out of space, though, so I may not keep it there long. The file is about 3.5 megs. I'd like to go ahead and just distribute this under the GNU Free Documentation License if people would actually be interested in taking it on. Is there a way to have Infidels host this, or is there even enough interest? |
