gay and interracial marriage
Has anybody noticed any similarities between gay marriage issues today and interracial marriage back then, and how most of the protesters I saw on the news are either white and Christians?

Yes, i've noticed that it generally seems to be the same sort of people who are opposed to it; i.e...republican/conservative white christians.
Funny, that |

Silly xians are probably using nearly the same arguments they used against interracial marriages: "It's not natural!" By the way, welcome Iam God! |

How the fuck do they know it isn't natural? All they have is some fucking book claiming to be the word of Godâ„¢. The worst of it all is that they aren't the only ones making that ridiculous claim.
(About knowing the word of God, that is). Fucking morons. |

I also see a similarity between proponents of gay/lesbian marriage and supporters of voting rights for women from the late 1800's - early 1900's. This document from 1873 (found in 1999 in a time capsule in Rochester NY) was written by electors who allowed women (including Susan B. Anthony) to vote in the 1872 election. They were prosecuted for their actions, much like how local officials have recently been threatened by Governators Schwarzenegger, Romney, Pataki and their AG's.
