Mountains in the Quran!
I couldnt reply to the other thread as it is very old, so had to make a new thread about this, 'cause this needs to be shared.
The fact that facts abt mountains are mentioned in Quran, makes it undoubtable truth. Here, let me give you the link to the book, which completely explains how the quran is 100% correct using references from scientific journals. It is written by Dr. Zaghloul El Naggar. Quote:

The guy who said the tsunami hit SE Asia "because the lands that were hit had tolerated the immoral behavior of tourists". Great source.
Some quick Google hits reveal just a bit of the nonsense behind this guy's claims: http://siratemustaqeem.com/phpBB/vie...1effdd4a#1613, Or look at Hector's post in this forum thread. For his sick twisted views on tsunamis' motives and other scientific inaccuracies, a Discover magazine article. |

Hmmm, and Winnie the Pooh mentions forests and honey. Just bedamned, both exist... thus proving that A. A. Milne was as inspired by god as Muhammad was.

I presume this is about mountains having deep roots.
Have We not made the earth as a bed, and the mountains as pegs? (Quran, 78:6-7) And He has set firm mountains in the earth so that it would not shake with you...(Quran, 16:15) The problem is that the mountains roots don't look like pegs (not steep enough) and they don't stop the earth from shaking as earthquakes are most common in mountainous areas. For a video really worth watching, here is Dr Naik arguing that whilst the mountains don't stop earthquakes, they do stop the earth from moving as we move!? "It is 'tamide bikum'...'Shake with you', Indicating, if the mountains were not there, if you would have walked, if you would have moved, even the earth would have moved with you - If you would have swayed, even the earth would have swayed with you." http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AoR_lPgWc9Q Unmissable. :Cheeky: |
