No errors of customs and other claims
Would it be possible that a couple of the more knowledgable folks could adress a couple of claims that I ran across.
1. There are no errors in customs in the Gosples (Isn't there a problem with the census and people returning to the home of some distant relative? Also, crucifiction and political offenses come to the mind.) 2. Novels (or fictional writings) didn't exist in the time of Christ (Seems utterly ridiculous to me in the light of Job and Greek stuff on Troy etc..) |

1: We have had several discussion of errors of Jewish customs already on this board, and I'm sure that some of the more proficient people here will fill you in on this regard, but...
2: Petronius was one of the few novelists out there, but the gospels aren't novels, they're myth. And myth was abundant. Just read Histories. |
