Default Prophecy, the Greatest Proof of God's Existence

Critics demand evidence, so evidence I will give (even though they will still reject this thus proving the falsity of their petty excuses). The greatest evidence in the Bible is Prophecy which is just remarkebly accurate. This right here disproves false history (and historians) which seek to undermine them and the Bible...because that which has been foretold in the past that comes into being in the present will not allow pseudo-history to disprove it. Rather the present fulfillment destroys these lies and proves that....God exists!!

Lets start with Daniel ch. 2. Nebucahdnezzar has a dream of a statue that was made of different metals in this order.

1. Head of gold
2. Chest and arms of silver
3. Stomach and thighs of brass
4. Legs of iron
5. Toes mixed with iron and clay

Daniel says these metals in chronological order represents 4 kingdoms that would rise upon the earth, he tells Nebby that it starts with his kingdom.

1. Babylon (Daniel tells Nebby that Babylon is the head of gold)
2. Medo-Persia ( Many critics says that there was never a Medo-Persia, but in fact in relevacy to Daniel's prophecy he does not seperate the medes from the persians. In ch 5 on the last day of the Babylonian kingdom a new kingdom arises. "Thy kingdom is DIVIDED and given to the MEDES AND PERSIANS" Medo-Persia is well represented as the chest and TWO ARMS of silver of the image.)
3. Greece (In ch. 8 Daniel foresees a battle between Medo-Persia and the Greeks, with the Greeks conquering Medo-Persia. Greece becomes the third kingdom represented by the stomach and thighs of brass).
4. Rome (Daniel does not out right say it but the Angel Gabriel most certainly gives a hint to who is this fourth kingdom. "And after 62 weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the PEOPLE of the Prince who is to come SHALL DESTROY THE CITY (JERUSELEM) AND THE SANCTUARY....Gabriel tells Daniel the Temple and the city was to under go another destruction by a certain people. The Romans were the only people to have did these things AFTER the cutting off of the Messiah after the restoration of Israel. Jesus lived and died during the Roman Empire)
5. Divided Rome (Daniel says this fourth kingdom would be divided and that they would again establish a brittle unity. Also note that the 4th kingdom is not to be conquered by another people! Until this day these European powers still remains in power, perhaps the longest rule of any people since the beginning of civilization! Also note that critics are famed by their attacks on the book of Daniel due to the accuracy of this remarkable prophet by saying these events were written in 200 B.C. or before the predictions. If that is true than how do you explain the events of the 4th kingdom like its division which didnt take place until 300 something A.D. when Rome split into west and east, and then in 476 A.D. when the west fell into separate powers, exactly what Daniel said would happen. And why is it also that there have been no kingdom to arise after the Roman-European powers which has remained true since Rome rosed! Maybe Daniel was written after 476!

The only kingdom to arise after divided Rome is the kingdom of Christ which Daniel clearly predicts. I have often wondered what Christ meant when He said "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand" after studying Daniel I knew....Repent, for the kingdom of God is the next and final kingdom after Rome! This explains why the Apostles even referred to their time as the last days...we have been in the last days since the death and ressurection of Christ.)

The prophecies concerning Israel causes much damage to those who claim their is no evidence and that biblical prophecies are fraudelent or writen before the events. I will not go deep on this one but prophecies related to Israel are these:

1. Israel destroyed by the Romans and scattered abroud throughout the world as the prophets foretold thousands of years before.
2. Israel restored in the last days one of the signs that mark the end of the end times.
3. A dispute over the land of Israel and Jerusalem between Israel and the surrounding nations.
4. Aremegeddon, the day when all nations will seek to destroy the Jews and Israel.
5. Their Messiah returns to save them from this destruction

All except the 4th has most certainly come true, right in front of our very eyes......which brings me to my conclusion....Prophecy is PROOF of GOD'S EXISTENCE.

"REMEMBER THE FORMER THINGS OF OLD: FOR I AM GOD, AND THERE IS NONE LIKE ME, DECALARING THE END FROM THE BEGINNING, AND FROM ANCIENT TIMES THE THINGS THAT ARE NOT YET DONE, SAYING MY COUNSEL SHALL STAND, AND I WILL DO ALL MY PLEASURE."----GOD

The text makes it clear (as well as fulfillment) that God proves Himself by Prophesy. There is no other belief system with this kind of evidence....I know not one.

Even the conservative New Bible Commentary, acknowledges that the date of authorship of Daniel is highly debated within the Christian world. We atheists, don’t even need to make an argument here, as you cannot even convince all your fellow believers.

And the below Yahweh statements concerning Israel have failed:

Ge 17:5 Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham; for a father of many nations have I made thee. 17:6 And I will make thee exceeding fruitful, and I will make nations of thee, and kings shall come out of thee. 17:7 And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee, and to thy seed after thee. 17:8 And I will give unto thee, and to thy seed after thee, the land wherein thou art a stranger, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession; and I will be their God. 17:9 And God said unto Abraham, Thou shalt keep my covenant therefore, thou, and thy seed after thee in their generations.
Ge 48:3 And Jacob said unto Joseph, God Almighty appeared unto me at Luz in the land of Canaan, and blessed me, 48:4 And said unto me, Behold, I will make thee fruitful, and multiply thee, and I will make of thee a multitude of people; and will give this land to thy seed after thee for an everlasting possession.
1 Chronicals 16:16 Even of the covenant which he made with Abraham, and of his oath unto Isaac; 16:17 And hath confirmed the same to Jacob for a law, and to Israel for an everlasting covenant, 16:18 Saying, Unto thee will I give the land of Canaan, the lot of your inheritance;

Hum…I think the Jews were kicked out of Israel for quite a while; that wasn’t quite everlasting. Batting 50/50, for a god, that kind of sucks…

Prove??? ROTFLMAO…you sound about as rational as those hard core atheist who think they can prove that no god exists… Personally, I prefer the words possible, plausible, and probable; but that probably doesn’t fit in your black and white world too well.

The language of that prophecy is too ambiguous to be declared fulfilled. It can mean anything. Basically, it relies on the fact that "empires will come and go, beaten by the next", but that's what always happened! What if instead of the Roman Empire, it would have been the Gauls or the Mongols? It would have fit that "prophecy" like a glove, just like the Romans. No matter if the Romans had never existed it would still become fulfilled! If it fits any possible outcome, it predicts nothing.

Muslims believe that Muhammad made many prophecies that were fulfilled. So if fulfilled prophecy is evidence of truth, why aren't you a Muslim, on your knees, worshiping almighty allah?

Here is a list of Prophecies Made by The Prophet Muhammad that you should read, and then consider converting to Islam. I mean, if 'fulfilled prophecy' is all it takes to convince you, and since Muhammad's prophecies are more recent, then what are you waiting for?

Wow, no wonder why people believe in astrology, bible etc., you just make a general claim and it's up to the person reading it to fill it up with content...

um, the Ottomans considered themselves to be the inheriters of the Byzantine Roman empire. And they are the people who once made up the Eastern Roman emipre. The Roman empire was mainly Latin and Greek. Um you do realize that Russia or the USSR is a European power as well as was the Ottomans right? The Europeans and the Romans are the same.

Also you are very ignorant (which is more than likely intentional) about Israel the promise will not be fulfilled until the return of the Messiah.

Care to try again?

And everyone is part of the same human race. Your super generalization does as much damage to your own argument, and makes it pretty meaningless.

those prohecies are dead specific. It amazes how critics would say otherwise. Did the mongols defeat Greece to become the 4th kingdom no?, did the mongols destroy the Jewish nation? no. Did the mongols conquer all of Europe? no (no even though they almost did). Very specific to bad you REFUSE to see that.
