Does anyone know what paper i'm thinking of?
I've been trying to recollect all the papers I lost when my old computer kicked the bucket but i'm having a hard time locating one of them.
I don't remember anything about it as far as title, author, journal, etc., but I do remember that it was a critique of John Meier's argument that the sort of interpretation of Zech 9 in Matt 21 is a sign of gentile, rather than Jewish, authorship of the gospel. I've searched JSTOR, ATLA, EBSCO and all the rest, but can't seem to find it. Does anyone have any idea what paper i'm thinking of? |

Do you have access to Meier's several Marginal Jew volumes? There are four out now, and Meier is notorious for his extensive bibliographic references, usually amply annotated in the end-notes. Check the scripture indexes for that passage, and see if his article is referenced in the end-notes to any pages indicated.
