Default Bible fruit and furry, cuddly Bible creatures!!

Both of the following photographs were taken at Ein Gedi on the Dead Sea in Israel.

I have been curious since I saw them... Can anyone tell me what on earth these bright orange berries are? I'd love to know. Are they edible? Were they "imported" or are they native?

A Biblical "Coney"!! These cuddly creatures are mentioned in Proverbs (in some versions). Can you find the chapter and verse?

The pig has evenly split hooves but does not chew the cud, so it is unclean. You may not eat the meat of these animals or even touch their carcasses. They are ceremonially unclean for you.
Leviticus 11: 2-8 (NLT)

Not sure about the fruit, but they could be some kind of currants.
